Being first time parents has definitely added a new joy to our lives and it has also magnified issues that have already been there. It's not something that anyone can just brush under the rug because things will only intensify, if ingnored. Having open communication is key, even though it may be uncomfortable. Honesty, integrity and being true to oneself is essential in all relationships. Whatever the situation, it's important to come from a place of love and respect and to see things from both points of view.

Hi Dave! Your right. My husband and I make it a ritual that we spend alone time a minimum of an hour per week just us..

Partners need to find time to be together, talk about their private issues, plan together, discuss different opinions and treat each other with respect. Open communication is the key to fulfilling and loving relationship what will definitely reflect on your children.
