Do you know when to use different varieties of oil when cooking/baking? In what ways do you tend to use different flavors of oils such as olive, canola, vegetable, peanut and corn?

I use OLIVE OIL for sauteing vegetables, drizzling on salads, adding to pasta dishes. Anywhere that the flavor of olives will complement the dish.
I use CANOLA oil when baking. It is usually added to cookie/cake recipes or I can toss some in a pan before cooking tortillas or eggs. Anywhere that I don't want any flavor from the oil present in the recipe.
I use VEGETABLE oil when cooking items that I don't want any flavor from the oil present in the recipe. I also interchange it with canola oil for baking.
I don't use PEANUT oil due to allergies in the household. But, I know it can be used in a turkey fryer and it a great oil to use when using a deep fryer.
I think CORN oil could be used the same way vegetable oil is.
I usually use vegetable oil for cooking. It's the most available type of oil in every retail or sari-sari store here in my country. It's also very affordable. But on special occasions and when special foods were prepared, I use olive oil special for my vegetable salad....how to delete file
